Liquid or paste formulation used to remove dried paint, varnish, enamel, or lacquer; contains solvents such as methanol, ethyl alcohol, acetone, toluene, benzene, and ethyl acetate.

A liquid which is applied to a dry paint or varnish to cause it to soften or lose adhesion so that it may be removed easily.
