The vascular reaction at the site of intradermally injected antibody when, 3 hours later, the specific antigen, usually mixed with Evans blue dye, is injected intravenously.

The sera were stored at -20[degrees]C until analyses for antigen-specific IgG titers by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and antigen IgE by ELISA and passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) test in naive rats.
Passive Cutaneous Anaphylaxis Test The homologous antiserum used was prepared according to the method described by Gautam et al.
The objective of the study was to test the effect of the Microcyn Technology on a murine (mouse) model of atopic dermatitis, by evaluating the reduction of passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) reaction after a single, as well as repetitive, topical applications of the technology.
