peak load
the maximum load on an electrical power-supply system

peak load [′pēk ‚lōd]
(electricity)
The maximum instantaneous load or the maximum average load over a designated interval of time. Also known as peak power.
(engineering)
The maximum quantity of a specified material to be carried by a conveyor per minute in a specified period of time.
