Pericline

pericline [′per·ə‚klīn]
(geology)
A fold characterized by central orientation of the dip of the beds.
(mineralogy)
A variety of albite elongated, and often twinned, along theb-axis.

Pericline 

rock strata that on a horizontal cross section of the earth’s surface form arcuate bends or ovals with layers dipping radially from a center. The layers fan out toward the periphery. The beds usually occur in domes and on the margins of anticlines and brachyanticlines.
