Phenom
A family of 64-bit, multicore CPU chips from AMD. The X3 is a triple-core CPU, and the X4 is a quad-core chip. In late 2007, the Phenom X4 was launched as part of AMD's "Spider" platform for gamers, which included the ATI Radeon 3800 series display adapter and AMD 7-series chipset.
