The event, which raised cash for the RSPCA, included first ridden class, dressage, ridden veteran, and a new ridden coloured class which sported skewbalds, piebalds and spotted breeds.
Our pictures snapped in Llandudno Road, Rumney, show that the white and black piebalds are still running freely around the east of the city.
I've heard of piebalds and albinos, but I've never heard of a blond deer.
