Forensic experts had found traces of plastic explosive on the floor and inside kitchen cabinets.
A PSNI spokesman said the plastic explosive was used in Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, on Saturday.
Lance Corporal Stuart Fisher, one of the Royal Engineer Search Advisers team, described the ammunition recovered saying: "The first find was a small amount of plastic explosive followed by four fuses.
