NYSE: FDC) announced today the introduction of a proprietary point of sale terminal that offers enhanced functionality and expandability utilizing the Microsoft Windows CE 4.
Its mobile commerce business unit began in October 2003 when Maximum entered into the point of sale business by securing exclusive distribution rights for a mobile point of sale terminal called MPOS2002.
With Prepaid Works program the merchants can sell prepaid wireless, long distance, ring tones and other products via the TeleCheck's Eclipse(R) payment terminal, as well as an Independent Point of Sale Terminal (IPOS).
