policy
The rules and regulations set by the organization. Policy determines the type of internal and external information resources employees can access, the kinds of programs they may install on their own computers as well as their authority for reserving network resources. Policy is also related to network quality of service (QoS), because it can define priorities by user, workgroup or application with regard to reserving network bandwidth. Key features of the plan include: * Directors and officers liability additional limit--$1 million defense * Employment practices liability additional limit--$1 million defense * Domestic partner coverage * Prior acts coverage * Duty to defend policy * Outside directorship coverage * Claims made within the policy period * Entity coverage with no products liability exclusion.
Policy periods are usually divided up into easy periods such as one, ten or twenty years.
