popup menu

popup menu
An on-screen menu that displays on top of the existing text or image. When the menu option is selected, the popup menu disappears. This is the common structure for menus today, but was a breakthrough in the early 1980s. See popup.

You also may refresh the spreadsheet data by right-clicking on any cell in the spreadsheet data table and selecting Refresh on the popup menu.
Of course by using floating or popup menus you can overcome some of these design limitations and keep your navigation visible at all times.
It utilizes rollover popup menus that appear only when needed, conserving space.
