portable video player
A handheld device that plays videos. The term may refer to lightweight flash memory or hard disk MP4 players that download video content from a computer or via Wi-Fi. Such devices often support photos, music files, and if they include general-purpose Web browsing, they may be called "Internet tablets" or "Internet media tablets." The term may also refer to portable DVD players. See portable DVD player, Portable Media Center and portable media player.
