COLD
(Computer Output to LaserDisc) Archiving large volumes of transactions on a LaserDisc (LD). In this earlier technology, data were stored on LaserDiscs, which were superseded by other forms of optical media, including WORM, magneto-optic and DVD-Rs. See ERM and computer output microfilm.
