powerline Ethernet bridge

    0.13 sec.

powerline Ethernet bridge

A quick way to extend a local network into another room via the building's electrical system. A short Ethernet cable from the network router or switch plugs into one of the bridges, which plugs into an AC wall outlet. In the other room, a second bridge plugs into the wall to provide an Ethernet port for the remote computer. Powerline bridges are typically HomePlug devices. See HomePlug and powerline network. See also Wi-Fi bridge.

Wired, Wireless and Powerline
A powerline network can be used with existing wired and wireless networks to extend the network via the building's electrical system.
