It is the proper role of government to defend the consumer against just such predatory behavior and to make the dream of homeownership something people can afford and enjoy, not something they get haunted by.
Predatory behavior probably originated many times and fossil evidence of predation is documented in the oldest skeletal organisms (Bengtson & Zhao 1992), though predation itself is likely to be much older (Bengtson 2002).
As a veterinarian, I have learned that there are separate centers in the brain dealing with predatory behavior and with hunger.
