This is one of the questions asked by lawyer Tom Schuck of Weyburn, SK, who, in replying to the editorial, asks: "Are Christians to be prohibited from speaking out on the immorality of premarital sex and adultery, too? A new study conducted by Lawrence Finer, research director at the Guttmacher Institute, claims that 95 percent of Americans have had premarital sex, and that this rate extends even to women born in the 1940s. I grew up in a world that promoted premarital sexual experimentation as the healthy, emancipated way to live, and I see the harsh results borne by family, friends and acquaintances. |
