Prince Regent
George IV as regent of Great Britain and Ireland during the insanity of his father (1811--20)

Prince Regent 

an inlet of the Canadian archipelago that joins the Parry Strait zone with the Gulf of Boothia. Length, approximately 220 km; width, 80–140 km; maximum depth, 439 m. The inlet is totally or partially ice-free in August and the first half of September. W. Parry discovered the inlet in 1819.
