This article discusses Native American urban adolescents' construal of social skills, and relationships between these skills and proactivity behaviors as identified in the Integrative Contextual Model of Career Development (Lapan, 2004). In this module, students will have an opportunity to review a few DMSMS program scenarios and evaluate the program's level of proactivity. In a survey carried out annually by the deputies' union, Lancaster station deputies praised Deeley for his character, leadership and proactivity, and were impressed that he worked the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's holidays. |
