| Since the end of 2003, an ongoing lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) proctitis outbreak has been reported in industrialized countries, first in the Netherlands, followed by neighboring European countries and the United Kingdom, and now in the United States and Canada (1-4). Gay Bowel Syndrome includes proctitis, protocolitis, and enteritis. Reports from the CDC, the American Medical Association, the International Journal of Epidemiology, and other sources show that despite two decades of "safe sex" preaching, virtually all STDs are running rampant among the homosexual population: HIV/AIDS, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, gonorrhea, syphilis, human papillomavirus, proctitis, proctocolitis, enteritis, chlamydia, and shigellosis. |
