This authentication solution leverages public/private key cryptography to generate a signature in the header of the email message.
The purpose of the protocol is to allow users to be authenticated onto WLANs with their existing password credentials, and, using strong public/private key cryptography, to protect those password credentials against eavesdropping and other attacks that are suddenly made possible by the advent of wireless communications.
Designed for the professional and corporate consumer markets, the Office Edition of Navaho Lock will have added features such as, optional automated key exchange based on public/private key cryptography, administrative control, improved functionality within networked environments, additional group-mail enhancements, contact import/export functionality, and integration with popular business applications.
