I have a very different perspective on the "Born Different" campaign ["Spare Us the Puppy Love," September 12], and I wanted to share it with your readers.
An example: romance stories are out -- puppy love is OK.
Their ensuing caper involves a little puppy love (Buddy with Antwan's little sister, Ramona; Antwan with a glamorous poodle named Miss Betty); a strong learning curve as both animals come to understand the seemingly outlandish ways of the other; a thrilling chase; and a daring rescue.
