About the same time Brian Mason, then curator of the National Collection of Meteorites, considered re-analysis of hornblende and pyrope from Kakanui, New Zealand. This project is known as the Stella Polaris Project and it has been disclosed that there is the presence of a large pyrope dominated kimberlite indicator dispersion plume in the Wyoming craton in southern Saskatchewan. The results reported here include numerous G10 pyrope garnets with diamond inclusion chemistry. |
