Qt
An open source development platform from Qt Software, a Norwegian unit of Nokia. Pronounced "cute," Qt is cross platform and can generate C++ code for Windows, Mac and Linux environments. Extremely popular programs have been written in Qt, such as Google Earth, Skype and the KDE interface used in Linux. Originally developed by Trolltech, which was founded in 1994, the company was acquired by Nokia in 2008. See MeeGo.

Jambi Is the Java Version
Qt Jambi is a Java version of Qt that lets Java programmers use the Qt framework. Jambi provides an interface to the Qt software library written in C++.

The company said that Maemo 5 will be used as the operating platform for the forthcoming Nokia N900 device Qt, which is a cross-platform application and User Interface (UI) programming framework also available for Symbian and Windows Mobile platforms, meaning that developers who target any of these platforms can easily cross compile for any other platform supported by Qt.
