Radiolucent ECG wires and electrodes were used to minimize disruption of coronary artery visualization.
Because there was no obvious source of the emphysema in the head and neck, another chest x-ray was ordered; this time, x-ray demonstrated a radiolucent line along the cardiac border, soft-tissue emphysema in the neck.
On X-ray, the lesion was diagnosed as septic arthritis on the basis of radiolucent areas and sclerosis, along with bony excrescences.
