The Nacimiento Water Project is a regional facility that will deliver up to 15,750 acre feet per year of raw water from Lake Nacimiento to communities throughout San Luis Obispo County and will include about 45 miles of pipe, Jacobs said. One day the metal basket in the raw water strainer is there, collecting grass and stuff, the next day most or all of it has disappeared, carried away by the water that flows through it. Covers: raw water treatment; clarification; lime-soda softening; filtration; demineralizer; cooling water treatment; and pumping systems. |
