real time video

    0.01 sec.

The transmission of live video. It implies that there is no delay at the receiving side, or at most, imperceptible delays. Videoconferencing is two-way real time video, which places the greatest demand on network bandwidth. One-way TV programs broadcast live, as well as streaming video clips, might be considered real time. However, a video that is downloaded first and then viewed is not. See streaming video, real time audio, videoconferencing, UDP and real time.
