Pathol an abnormal constriction of a tubular organ, structure, or part stricture [′strik·chər] (medicine) Abnormal narrowing of a passage, such as a vessel, duct, or the intestine. Also known as constriction. Stricture the organic narrowing of a tubular organ having a comparatively small lumen, such as the ureter, urethra, and biliary duct.
