Oct 4, 2009 Twelve Apostles Hotel Roberto De Carvalho, executive chef of the five star Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, part of the Red Carnation Collection, was selected by the South African Chefs Association to be part of the Culinary Team SA Training Squad for the 2012 Olympic Team representing South Africa due to his expertise and solid reputation in the industry.
White carnations were given for living mommies and red carnations were given in memory of those who had passed.
Red roses remain a popular choice for many people, however a variety of alternative flowers such as mixed bouquets, crimson red carnations and exotic flowers from around the world are becoming increasingly popular choices.
