redrawTo redisplay an image on screen whether text or graphics. The concept is that the first time elements are displayed, they are "drawn," and if something is changed, they are "redrawn." Applications often have a Refresh command that redraws the screen. For example, in the Windows Explorer file manager, the Refresh command redraws the screen with the current directory (folder) structure. In some graphics programs, a Redraw or Refresh command redraws the elements on screen, because artifacts have been left over after numerous changes were made by the illustrator, which the program did not automatically "clean up."
