reserved word
A verb or noun in a programming or command language that is part of the native language. It cannot be used to describe user data.
reserved word [ri′zərvd ′wərd]
(computer science)
A word which cannot be used in a programming language to represent an item of data because it has some particular significance to the compiler, or which can be used only in a particular context.
