reset button

A computer button or key that reboots the computer. All current activities are stopped cold, and any data in memory (RAM) is lost. On a printer, the reset button clears the printer's memory and readies it to accept new data.

However, once the generator is shut down, pushing the reset button will "clear" the indicator whether the air filter restriction has been corrected or not.
Its first four episodes suggest it has been worth the wait, although they sort of hit the reset button at their conclusion, offering the promise of more richly startling story lines once they're done.
