NYCB has announced that resident choreographer CHRISTOPHER WHEELDON will conclude his residency the winter of 2008. Prior to his medical administration position with Mountainside Hospital, he was residency director of the Mountainside Family Practice Associates and medical director and associate residency director at Somerset Medical Center. The series is launched on September 19 2006 when the LSO will give the second concert in its initial residency at the Salle Pleyel, Paris; the Orchestra will be conducted by Bernard Haitink in four Beethoven Symphonies, following the widely acclaimed Beethoven Symphony Cycle at the Barbican in the past season. |
