Captain Jack And The Dalton Gang is a superbly presented, engagingly informative, biographically oriented, rivetingly entertaining story of outlaws and the lawmen who pursued them. ``The Sopranos'' has begat any number of greatly gritty series about rivetingly flawed anti-heroes (consider FX's ``The Shield'' and ``Nip/Tuck'') and would likely take home summary trophies until FX uncorked its best show yet, ``Rescue Me.
