A frame of metal bars that is installed in a racing car around the driver's seat to protect the driver in the event of an accident.

The GT-R's two standard backseats were taken out and replaced with a 50-litre water tank, which was secured with a roll cage.
The GT3 isn't turbo-charged or much more powerful than the standard version - it's just designed to go very quickly so comes with a roll cage and serious racing seats.
With karting they're very exposed but this requiresaproper racing car with the roll cage within the vehicle.
