Rootworm Trait Performance in 2006 Most of the time, rootworm traits do a good job of protecting corn yields and standability.
The co-developers of the Herculex family of insect resistance for corn have agreed to eliminate a provision that would have delayed when Dow AgroSciences could license Herculex RW Rootworm Protection and Herculex XTRA Insect Protection to other seed companies.
Rootworm damage more prevelant; seems to move west about 50 miles a year.
