This safety rail aids in keeping people in the bed and not ending up on the floor.
About 600 stone steps, with no safety rails, lead to the summit of the rock which contains seventhcentury monastic remains.
The wall and safety rail outside the public toilets by the town's post office was demolished by a runaway car last year (see picture, left).
