Americans should focus on two salient points of any bill: legality and cost.
IN my letter printed on August 1 in the Chronicle - 'Give soldiers a decent salary' - the salient point was: "While many MPs have fiddled enormous amounts in expenses, our soldiers in deplorable conditions were fighting a war in Afghanistan for the wages of traffic wardens.
Generic software is not going to identify these salient points for you nor will they identify many other state-specific points.
