A study follows on the aerial estimate of wild horse population in the Abode Town and Salt Wells Creek Herd Management Areas using an integrated simultaneous double-count and sightability bias correction technique; it is excerpted and augmented from a USGS publication.
AMONG the cases dealt with at Teesside Magistrates Court on May 16 were: Gerard Beedle, 32, of Salt wells Road, Middlesbrough, jailed for 10 weeks for fraud by dishonest representation and possession of a Class B drug.
The former Salt Wells Villa, 75 miles east of Reno, was for decades a red-light stop for Top Gun airmen and local lawmen.
