A figured wood fromEntandrophragma cylindricum,a big tree growing on the Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Nigeria. Also known as aboundikro; scented mahogany; West African cedar.

A light-to-dark red-brown wood of central and western Africa; hard, relatively dense, frequently with ribbon-stripe grain; often decoratively figured.
