The IIJ Secure MX Service is an ASP service that operates through an IIJ gateway server established between a customer's mail system and the Internet to offer comprehensive mail security functions including anti-spam, sender authentication, mail transmission route encryption, and full-text mail storage.
The big ISPs have been arguing for more than a year about how to create such a sender authentication system.
Its architecture leverages with 12 defense layers: denial of service and security protection, rate control, IP analysis, sender authentication, recipient verification, virus protection, policy (user-specified rules), Fingerprint Analysis, Intent Analysis, Image Analysis, Bayesian Analysis, and a Spam Rules Scoring engine.
