Two men wearing ski masks approached the teens just before 3 pm (1900 GMT) and said "you know who we're looking for" before shooting 15 rounds of ammunition, a police spokesman told the Detroit News.
She was approached by a man wearing a ski mask who pushed her to one side and grabbed her bag, which had money in.
There were about 10 pistols and rifles in one bag and black trousers, white gloves and ski masks in the other.
