A general term encompassing the following compounds: sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium metaphosphate, dibasic sodium phosphate, hemibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phosphate, tribasic sodium phosphate, sodium pyrophosphate, and acid sodium pyrophosphate.
