soil pipe [′sȯil ‚pīp]
(civil engineering)
A cast-iron or plastic pipe for carrying discharges from toilet fixtures from a building into the soil drain. Also known as soil line.

soil pipe, soil line
A pipe which conveys the discharge of water closets or fixtures having similar functions, with or without the discharges from other fixtures. Also see cast-iron soil pipe.
