Small tree to 40ft, long thin leaves, flowers in clusters which become clustered red berries. Ripe Fruit used to expel worms. Inner bark tea used as blood purifier, colds, diarrhea, astringent, hemorrhoids, gallbladder, stomach issues, immune booster. Orange-red berries edible but should be cooked because of high malic acid content.
