Other lesions to consider in the differential diagnosis of a scrotal mass include testicular tumor, tuberculosis, sperm granulomas, cysts and less commonly, lymphogranuloma inguinale, granuloma inguinale, filarial granulomas and other fungal diseases. Leaving the testicular end of the vas open is found to cause less congestive epididymitis and, if anything, decrease the incidence of both sperm granuloma and resultant failure. |
