tail suffix can be appended to a method call instruction, causing it to discard the stack frame of the calling method; this is particularly important for the efficient implementation of functional languages, which make heavy use of recursive calls that would otherwise overflow the runtime stack.
The Java Virtual Machine, JVM loads and stores a stack frame every time it calls a method.
The depreciation and yearly maintenance on the dry stack frame are higher for semienclosed or open facilities and should be reflected in the expense projections.
