Last year, the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development published a standard data format for location information. BIND's data model was the first of its kind to be peer-reviewed prior to database development, and is now a mature standard data format spanning molecular interactions, small molecule chemical reactions, interfaces from three-dimensional structures and genetic interaction networks. This standard data format will allow the agency to populate a cross-study database and do more comprehensive analyses for the benefit of patients. |
