Southport-based Philip turned professional in 1975 and although he was behind the first stereo record on how to paint in 1977, his career really shifted up a gear in 1992 when he pitched an idea for a TV mini series based on a character called Pablo and the Pallet People.
Crosley's portable dual-amplified stereo record player weighs 12 pounds, has a three-speed turntable and can be used anywhere, even in cars and boats with a special adapter.
