stinkbug, member of a large, widely distributed family of true bugs bug, common name correctly applied to insects belonging to the order Hemiptera, although members of the order Homoptera (e.g., mealybug) are sometimes referred to as bugs, as are other insects in general.

). Stinkbugs of several species are used as human food in Mexico, India, and Africa. There are over 5,000 species, with several hundred in North America. Stinkbugs are classified in the phylum Arthropoda Arthropoda [Gr.,=jointed feet], largest and most diverse animal phylum. This is due to the dying flower being consumed by the stinkbug.
Named after Dave Andrecht, who refused to grab like traditional hand plants (which is stinkbug mute).
But comfort requires someone's effort and the little stinkbug ends up doing all the work.
