(ordnance)
A plate in the breech of a firearm or gun, which supports the base of the cartridge and which is pierced with a hole through which the striker or firing pin hits the primer.

Position the two locking bracket assemblies so that the locking latches engage the striker plates on the inside of the rear doors.
Unlike the most common striker plates, such as carbon steel, brass, lead or hard wood, urethane will not splinter and adhere to the cut bales, thereby contaminating the product.
