The book begins with an overview of PHP's capabilities, then covers PHP concepts, such as variables, datatypes, string manipulation, and user interaction.
The book also covers networking, object-oriented PHP, file and string manipulation, multimedia creation, mathematics and database interaction.
Although we have taken a step up from low-level string manipulation to a common, structured document format, the standard tools still generally require the developer to write low-level code to traverse the content and interpret the string data manually.
